This vase was fired in a gas reduction kiln. I love the gas fired pieces but the outcome varies greatly in a school setting.

This is a copy of something I saw in a museum in Vienna, Austria. The original is over 2000 years old. Mine is somewhat younger.

I find white clay easier to work with, but the colors of the glazes seem less vibrant.
