For over five years I have been the Director of Competitions for CINE,which is a 48 year old non-profit organization whose mission is the recognition of excellence in films by both new and established filmmakers. In addition to the Golden Eagle pictured to the left, CINE presents Special Jury Awards,the Masters Awards and Award of Excellence to professional and student or amateur filmmakers, respectively.

Between 800 and 1200 hopeful producers, directors, networks and sponsors submit their films for consideration every year. It takes over 150 dedicated volunteer professionals to select winners through a unique two stage judging process. For more information, please visit the CINE website at www.cine.org.
